IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM ROCKVILLE EYE ASSOCIATES
Following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, we have restricted our in-person patient visits to emergent problems only during the present public health emergency.
We are cancelling all appointments scheduled within the next few weeks. If your Doctor feels that postponing your appointment would put your vision at risk, you will be contacted with information on how to proceed.
When the time course of the pandemic is clear, we will contact patients to reschedule their appointments.
Please call our office at 301-231-5088 and speak with our staff or the answering service. Emergent problems will still be seen in-person in our office. If you are told to come to the office, please wear a mask if you have one.
We are still available to help you with non-emergent problems. We have several ways to address these issues:
The Patient Portal allows you to send secure non-emergent messages to your doctor. We ask that you do not use this method for emergencies. You can send a message 24/7.
Telemedicine video visits are now available. These visits may not be appropriate for all problems and require an appointment. You can access our Telemedicine services by clicking on the TELEMEDICINE ACCESS link on the homepage.
Our phone lines will be open for incoming calls from 9 am until 3 pm Monday through Thursday.
CONTACT LENS ORDERS
You can contact Ashlee at 301-231-5088 to order contact lenses between 9 am and 3 pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
As you can understand, our office phone lines are very busy. If you have a billing question, please call our Billing Staff at 844-878-8053 option 4.
